Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker. This role involves providing support and care to young people aged 8-18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Encourage young people to participate in activities and take responsibility for their own lives.
  • Maintain a homely and friendly environment in the residential home.
  • Deal with challenging behaviours in a safe and sympathetic manner.
  • Protect young people from risks to their health and welfare.
  • Provide support and promote independence and well-being.
  • Maintain a safe environment and ensure the safety of young people.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, parents, and other professionals.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Children's Residential Support Worker or in a similar role is desirable.
  • Ability to commute to Ely, Cambridgeshire.
  • Full UK manual driver's licence.
  • Over 21 years old.
