Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Group Leader/Senior Group Leader in the Structural Biology, Biophysics, and Protein Science department at Charles River Laboratories.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of scientists and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in the field of drug discovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide scientific leadership and guidance to team members in the areas of structural biology, biophysics, and protein science.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and achieve project goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results and meet client expectations.
  • Manage and mentor team members to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in the field to ensure the team's expertise remains current.
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant field, such as structural biology, biophysics, or protein science.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Experience working in a CRO setting, with knowledge of drug discovery processes and technologies.
