Job Title: Adoption and Care Planning Manager

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team as an Adoption and Care Planning Manager. This role involves leading a team of professionals who work closely with children, families, and other agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, with experience in care planning and adoption procedures. They will be responsible for managing a team, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that cases are progressing smoothly.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of Social Workers in the assessment and implementation of care plans for looked-after children
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with external agencies, including Local Authorities, Health Trusts, and voluntary sector organizations
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to care planning and adoption
  • Participate in case conferences and review meetings to ensure that the needs of children are being met
Requirements:
  • DipSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
  • HCPC registration
  • DBS clearance
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
