Job Summary:

Morgan Rutherford Associates is seeking an experienced Exhibition Sales Director to lead the sales effort across 2 Exhibitions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by overseeing a small but dedicated sales team, developing sales strategies, and nurturing relationships with exhibitors and sponsors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Sales Effort: Oversee the sales team to achieve revenue growth targets and develop sales strategies to drive business expansion.
  • Develop Sales Strategies: Create and implement sales plans to increase revenue and expand the client base.
  • Nurture Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, and other key stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the Management Team: Work closely with the founder and CEO, as well as other members of the management team, to ensure the successful execution of sales plans and achieve the company's financial targets.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in exhibition sales, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and experience in managing and motivating a sales team.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • CRM Software: Proficient in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the exhibition and trade show industry, including current trends and best practices.
