AV Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AV Engineer to join our team at Heels & Brogues Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and commissioning audio-visual systems, including projectors, displays, sound systems, and control solutions, at various on-site locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure AV equipment, including projectors, displays, sound systems, and control systems.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal AV solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments and contractors on-site for seamless AV integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system performance.
Requirements:
  • Experience in AV installation, including sound systems, video displays, and control systems or similar field.
  • Proficiency in cabling (cat5/5e/6/6A and fibre optic).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with AV testing equipment.
  • Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
  • Experience with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron).
  • CSCS/ECS card and basic networking knowledge.
  • IPAF/PASMA certification for safe working at height.

We offer a competitive salary of 25,500 per annum, plus benefits including company pension, commission scheme, company van (including private use), and 28 days holiday.
