Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head Waiter / Restaurant Manager to join our team at Smyth & Co. Luxury Consultants Ltd. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to service standards.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and support staff in presenting menus, explaining dishes, and providing detailed information about ingredients and preparation methods to enhance the dining experience.
  • Order Management: Oversee the accurate taking and inputting of food and beverage orders into the POS system, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted.
  • Service Coordination: Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure precise and timely delivery of food and beverages, maintaining a seamless dining experience.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, and promptly address guests' needs and concerns throughout their meal.
  • Guest Relations: Handle guest complaints gracefully and professionally, ensuring a consistently high standard of service and striving for quick resolution, while supporting staff in conflict resolution and problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ Years experience in luxury hospitality, preferably in a Michelin environment or similar high-level establishment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, staff, and management.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well as a team and individually, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Conflict Resolution: Conflict resolution skills and the ability to deal with complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Right to Work: A right to work in the UK.
