We are looking for an experienced and outgoingHead Waiter/ Head Waitressto join our highly professional and energetic front-of-house team atCorrigan's Mayfairrestaurant, which is part of Corrigan Collection group.

As a Head Waiter/Waitress, in return, you will be rewarded with:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Head Waiter or in a similar supervisory role within an upscale restaurant.
  • Extensive knowledge of fine dining service, food preparation, and wine pairing.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Customer service-oriented with a passion for hospitality and creating positive guest experiences.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with health and safety standards and basic knowledge of restaurant management systems

About the Head Waiter/Waitress role:
  • Supervise and lead the wait staff team to deliver outstanding customer service that reflects the Corrigan's Mayfair standard.
  • Coordinate table assignments, oversee reservations, and ensure seamless service operations throughout the dining experience.
  • Greet guests warmly, take orders efficiently, and handle special requests with professionalism and poise.
  • Train, mentor, and provide performance feedback to junior wait staff to maintain high standards of service and teamwork.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly resolve any issues to ensure a memorable dining experience.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the restaurants menu, wine list, and specials, providing recommendations and assisting guests with food and wine pairings.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean, well-organized dining area.
  • Support restaurant management with inventory control, staff scheduling, and performance management.
