Position Overview:

The Head Waiter/Head Waitress will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive impeccable service. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion for fine dining, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in a similar role within a high-end restaurant setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the front-of-house team to deliver top-notch service.
  • Greet and seat guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
  • Oversee table settings and ensure they meet the restaurants high standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate waitstaff to maintain exceptional service standards.
  • Assist with scheduling, shift planning, and staff evaluations.
  • Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials, wine pairings, and ingredients.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Head Waiter/Head Waitress in a fine dining establishment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail expertise.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and attention to detail.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Certification in hospitality management or related field is a plus.
