About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Site Manager to lead our construction project in Golborne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of this high-profile project, which involves the construction of a state-of-the-art office and depot facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize resources, set priorities, and work within budget and programme timescales.
  • Understand and interpret construction phase and site quality plans with quick mobilization ability.
  • Manage site workers, subcontractors, and all general works on site.
  • Ensure safety documentation is developed and enacted on site.
  • Help reduce construction-associated costs.
  • Plan and program current and future works.
  • Complete as-built drawings for handover files.
  • Monitor progress against the project plan and resolve issues.
  • Line manage Site Managers and Site Supervisors.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in large build construction projects, specifically concrete frame buildings.
  • Experience working as a Senior Site Manager on projects with a value of between £20 million to £40 million.
  • Extensive background in Site/Contract Management delivering contracts of similar value.
  • HNC Building Studies or a degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management or relevant experience.
  • Solid health and safety knowledge and a health and safety-related qualification.
  • SMSTS and NEC Engineering & Construction Contract experience.
