About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as a Registered Manager at one of our children's homes. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring that our children and young people receive the highest standard of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of colleagues to provide high-quality care and support to our children and young people.
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of our children and young people.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a high standard of care and quality.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a compassionate and motivated team.
  • Design and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the home.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and support provided.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted-rated home.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with challenging behaviors.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Excellent knowledge of current legislations and regulations.
