Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement care plans that are tailored to the needs of our Maori clients and their whanau.
- Work collaboratively with community agencies to ensure optimal engagement with our Maori clients and whanau.
- Develop and facilitate groups for clients and whanau as needed, using a strengths-based approach.
- Support the team in delivering a service based on matauranga Maori principles.
The Early Intervention Service is a multi-disciplinary team that offers assessment and treatment to young people who are experiencing psychosis for the first time. We aim to provide a bicultural, client-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative support program that is guided by the recovery-focused framework laid out in the book Recovery after a first episode of psychosis.
