About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Forensic Mental Health Liaison Nurse. In this role, you will provide liaison and consultation services to Courts, Prisons, Justice Departments, Mental Health, Police, Government, and Community Agencies on mental health and addiction matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide rapid assessments of individuals with mental health and addiction problems
  • Utilize clinical and medical-legal knowledge to inform decision-making
  • Collaborate with inter-professional teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Ensure cultural safety and promote an environment that maximizes patients' safety, independence, quality of life, and health
