Exceptional Forensic Psychiatrist Opportunity

An exciting new role has emerged for a dedicated Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist to join a leading healthcare provider in Wellington, Somerset.

This exceptional hospital offers care to individuals with mental health conditions in a modern, purpose-built facility with low and medium secure environments.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a Full GMC Registration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend SMT morning handovers.
  • Participate in ward rounds, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Lead the implementation of risk assessments and risk management strategies.
  • Contribute to clinical governance and ensure the implementation of policies and protocols.
  • Prepare and supervise various reports, including Mental Health Act tribunals and managers' reports, and attend hearings.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary up to £150,000 per annum. This is a permanent, full-time role working through days.
