About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as a Registered Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

As a Registered Manager, you will have the autonomy to lead and manage your team, inspiring and motivating them to provide exceptional care and support to our children and young people. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Children's Homes Regulations and the Quality Standards.

You will work closely with our Recruitment Team to build a talented and motivated team, and will be responsible for the design, implementation, and monitoring of care and education plans to meet the individual needs of our children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of colleagues to provide high-quality care and support to our children and young people.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Children's Homes Regulations and the Quality Standards.
  • Design, implement, and monitor care and education plans to meet the individual needs of our children and young people.
  • Work closely with our Recruitment Team to build a talented and motivated team.
  • Responsible for the organisation of work patterns, facilitation of training, and the accessing of appropriate services to support the childcare practices within your homes.
Requirements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of managing an Ofsted-rated home with a rating of Good or above.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with challenging behaviors, including mental health and behavioral problems.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Excellent knowledge of current legislations, including the Children's Homes England Regulations 2015, Quality Standards 2015, the Children's Act 1989, and the Children Act 2004.
