Job Summary

The BBC Group and Public Services is seeking a skilled TV Presentation Announcer/Director to join our team as a Content Delivery Specialist. This is a fixed-term, full-time position that requires a high level of expertise in broadcast operations and content delivery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a small team to ensure the transmission of BBC One Northern Ireland and BBC Two Northern Ireland is executed flawlessly, covering a 365-day rota that spans early morning to late night.
  • Operate the playout automation and other systems, previewing and checking content to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Liaise with editorial and technical colleagues across the UK to coordinate transmission schedules and make necessary adjustments.
  • Deliver live continuity announcements that promote our programs and communicate important information to viewers.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production colleagues to resolve issues and maintain a smooth broadcast operation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions. You should also be comfortable with operating a control room and have a strong understanding of broadcast operations and content delivery.
