We are looking for a skilled Freelance Event Specialist to join our team in Newbury, UK. As an experienced professional, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of our upcoming in-person events.

About the Position

This is a contract per-event role, requiring flexibility with your schedule to accommodate evenings and weekends as needed. You will work closely with our team to ensure the success of each event.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate event details, including setup, alignment with onsite teams, and teardown.
  2. Participate in virtual planning meetings ahead of each event to discuss logistics with stakeholders.
  3. Take charge of in-person events, guaranteeing a high-quality customer experience.
  4. Ensure clear understanding and alignment of roles and responsibilities with onsite teams.
  5. Oversee the check-in process for in-person events.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Previous experience in coordinating complex, large-scale events and smaller executive-level intimate events.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality events and continually improving the customer experience.
  • Capacity to think critically and solve problems efficiently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Salary Range: £45,000 - £55,000 annually, based on experience.
