As a Freelance Event Specialist with Visit, Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing the logistical aspects of our upcoming in-person events in Newbury, UK. This is a contract per-event role, requiring flexibility with your schedule to accommodate evenings and weekends as needed.

Role Overview

You will work closely with our team to ensure the success of each event, taking charge of event details, including setup, alignment with onsite teams, and teardown. Additionally, you will participate in virtual planning meetings ahead of each event to discuss logistics with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate event logistics, including setup, alignment with onsite teams, and teardown.
  • Join virtual planning meetings to coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of in-person events, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
  • Align roles and responsibilities with onsite teams.
  • Manage check-in process for in-person events.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Flexibility with your schedule to accommodate evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Previous experience in coordinating complex, large-scale events and smaller executive-level intimate events.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality events and continually improve the customer experience.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: £45,000 - £55,000 per year, based on experience.
