Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pharmacovigilance Medical Director to join our team at GSK. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in pharmacovigilance and medical science to drive the safety evaluation and risk management of key GSK assets.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing scientific guidance on the development and implementation of pharmacovigilance strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of pharmacovigilance strategies for GSK's global portfolio of products
  • Provide scientific guidance on the assessment and mitigation of product safety risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and vendors
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and developments in pharmacovigilance and apply this knowledge to inform business decisions
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., medicine, pharmacy, or a related health science)
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or a related field, preferably in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing pharmacovigilance strategies, as well as building and leading high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and emerging trends in pharmacovigilance
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

At GSK, we offer a competitive salary range of $160,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience.
