As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety of our products. With a strong background in pharmacovigilance and risk management, you will lead the evaluation and management of key GSK assets or clinical development initiatives.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our pharmacovigilance and risk management efforts. This individual will be responsible for scientifically sound review and interpretation of data, as well as the management of safety issues. They will also escalate safety concerns to senior management and safety governance as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads pharmacovigilance and risk management planning and develops strategies for evaluating issues in the clinical matrix.
  • Develops and implements risk-reduction strategies in clinical study protocols and/or product labeling.
  • Represents GSK on cross-functional Clinical Matrix Teams and/or Project Teams.
  • Liaises with global regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A medical degree with advanced experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry working in pharmacovigilance or drug safety.
  • Significant pharmacovigilance experience relating to safety evaluation and risk management, encompassing both clinical development and post-marketing activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results under pressure.
