About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team at Merlyn Vaz Urgent Treatment Centre in Leicester, Leicestershire. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care to patients, working autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients.
- Work effectively as part of a multi-professional team, collaborating with other members of the service to achieve collective brilliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to current practice guidelines.
- Participate in service development, contributing to the improvement of patient care and services.
- Registered Adult Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist with the relevant professional body.
- Independent non-medical prescriber qualification.
- Minimum of 2 modules at Level 7, including Minor Illness & Minor Injury.
- Ability to complete a concise clinical history and physical examination.
- Formulate a differential diagnosis and management plan.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Competitive salary: £59,226 - £69,006 (Band 30% evening enhancements, 45% weekend enhancements).
- Generous annual leave entitlement: 25 days + 8 bank holidays, increasing with service up to 33 days + 8 bank holidays.
