We are seeking a highly dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Outstanding SEN School in Southport.
About the Job:
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and empathetic teaching assistant to work with students with special educational needs, providing tailored support to help them succeed academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Cultivate a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student development and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to promote student development and progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to teaching staff.
- Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques to ensure a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and its application to support students' learning and development.
Requirements:
- A minimum salary of 85-100 per day.
- 8:30 am - 15:30 pm working hours.
- All applicants must undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy.
- Your CV should cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible, with all employment breaks explained.
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
- You must be willing to attend a registration interview.
Salary: £85-100 per day.
