The Role

We are seeking a part-time Finance and Administration Officer to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in managing our day-to-day finances, providing financial information to our Charity Coordinator and other staff as needed. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing our finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Providing financial information and support to our Charity Coordinator and other staff
  • Assisting with administration and governance tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence
  • Managing the day-to-day running of our office, including facilities, supplies, and equipment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Accounts and/or bookkeeping experience, with a strong understanding of financial management principles
  • The ability to run an end-to-end payroll using a computerized system, including HMRC and year-end reporting
  • Excellent administration skills, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, stakeholders, and service users
  • A passion for empowering individuals with learning disabilities and a commitment to our mission and values
