Project Manager Specialist

Are you a skilled project manager looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in planning, controlling, and estimating projects? We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Portfolio Office team at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL).
About the RoleAs a Project Manager Specialist, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver unique projects using cutting-edge technology. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working with project managers to estimate, plan, and control projects
- Providing training to project managers and wider staff in specialist knowledge areas
- Creating and delivering progress updates in accordance with governance frameworks
- Performing reviews on projects to inform if a project is ready to move to the next stage
- Providing specialist knowledge and skills to ensure NPL is seen as an exemplar in project management
We are now working in a hybrid way, with a mix of remote and office working. This position will be based in Teddington. We strive to offer a great work-life balance, and we will try to accommodate part-time or flexible options where possible.
