Disability Support Coordinator

Leonard Cheshire Disability is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager (RN) to support the Service Manager in the running of the nursing home and deputise in their absence. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of nursing and care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to customers.
The ideal candidate will have recent deputy manager experience of working in a care home, ideally with complex care knowledge and experience not necessarily ITU. They will have wound management, tracheostomy, PEG, JEG, suprapubic catheter, seizure management, and learning and physical disability experience. Some knowledge of the CQC Single Assessment Framework is also necessary.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of nursing and care staff to deliver high-quality care and support to customers.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans to meet the needs of customers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety legislation.
The salary for this role is around £42,000 per year.
