Role Overview

As a Deputy Manager (RN) with Leonard Cheshire, you will be responsible for supporting the Service Manager in the running of the nursing home and deputising in their absence. You will manage a team of nursing and care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to customers.

The successful candidate will have recent deputy manager experience of working in a care home, ideally with complex care knowledge and experience not necessarily ITU. They will have wound management, tracheostomy, PEG, JEG, suprapubic catheter, seizure management, and learning and physical disability experience. Some knowledge of the CQC Single Assessment Framework is also necessary.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a team of nursing and care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to customers.
  2. Provide direct personal and social care to customers with physical and/or learning disabilities.
  3. Develop and implement individualised care plans to meet the needs of customers.

The salary for this role is approximately £38,500 per year.
