About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Field House and Apartments, an eight-bed specialist rehabilitation service for women with a Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff, including support staff and assistants.
  • Ensure the delivery of occupational therapy student placements.
  • Support the completion of appraisals/personal development plans with junior staff.
  • Develop and implement appropriate policies, protocols, and care pathways.
Requirements
  • Occupational Therapy profession qualification.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Extensive and relevant post-qualification clinical experience in adult mental health.
  • Extensive experience of applying occupational frames of reference and approaches.
  • Demonstrates evidence of highly effective clinical reasoning skills.
  • Highly specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models.
  • Knowledge of how to work with individuals with mental illness.
