As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in promoting health and independence by delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to support the recovery and rehabilitation of women with mental illness and/or personality disorder.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff, including support staff and assistants.
- Ensure the delivery of occupational therapy student placements.
- Support the completion of appraisals and personal development plans with junior staff.
- Develop and implement appropriate policies, protocols, and care pathways.
- Occupational Therapy profession qualification.
- HCPC Registration.
- Extensive and relevant post-qualification clinical experience in adult mental health.
- Extensive experience of applying occupational frames of reference and approaches.
- Demonstrates evidence of highly effective clinical reasoning skills.
- Highly specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models.
- Knowledge of how to work with individuals with mental illness.
- Annual salary of £33,000 - £42,000.
