As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based treatment plans, empowering individuals to regain independence and improve their overall well-being. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, and social workers, to provide holistic care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to the individual needs of service users.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence, social participation, and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and continuity of treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance the quality of care provided.

Your Expertise

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with a recognized qualification and HCPC registration.
  • Extensive clinical experience in adult mental health settings, particularly with women experiencing Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder.
  • In-depth knowledge of occupational therapy frameworks, approaches, and assessment tools.
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to make sound judgments based on evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
