We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Field House, a specialist rehabilitation service for women with mental illness and personality disorder.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in promoting health and independence by delivering high-quality assessments and interventions, as well as providing clinical leadership and supervision to the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement occupational therapy plans to support service users in achieving their goals
- Provide expert advice and guidance to junior staff and other healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless care pathways for service users
- Occupational Therapy qualification and HCPC registration
- Extensive experience in adult mental health, with a focus on trauma and attachment disorders
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and ability to work with individuals with complex needs
- Knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models, including Trauma-focused CBT and Compassion-focused Therapy
