**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Welfare Officer to join our team at Leicestershire County Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, promoting, and supporting the engagement and attendance of vulnerable children and young people with SEND.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and support the engagement and attendance of vulnerable children and young people with SEND
- Promote the work of the SEN Service and improve outcomes for children and young people
- Undertake junior responsibilities with statutory SEND casework
**Requirements**
- Knowledge of the work of the Children and Adults Department, including an awareness of SEN policies in Nottingham
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workload
