About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at Castleholme Lodge, a 20-bed care home providing mental health services for adults with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, effective, and compassionate nursing care to service users
  • Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members
  • Observe, record, and report all service user changes, and maintain accurate records of care provided

Requirements

  • A relevant nursing qualification
  • NMC registration
  • Strong team-working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
