About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate PE professional to develop engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students, promoting physical fitness and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Deliver Lessons: Create and deliver comprehensive PE lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of students, incorporating team sports, individual fitness activities, and health education.
  2. Develop Curricula: Develop and implement age-appropriate physical education curricula aligned with national standards, fostering a lifelong love of physical activity.
  3. Safeguarding: Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that encourages student participation and physical development.
  4. Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate records of students' progress, providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and school administrators.
  5. Community Engagement: Organize and oversee extracurricular sports programs, including after-school clubs, competitions, and events.
  6. Maintenance: Evaluate and maintain equipment, ensuring its proper use and safety.
  7. Teamwork: Foster collaboration with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community to enhance the PE program and student experience.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a PE Teacher or in a related role, preferably working with students with SEN.
  3. Strong knowledge of physical education curriculum and current trends in fitness education.
  4. Ability to engage students of all ages and skill levels in physical activities.
  5. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  6. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Salary Details:

The estimated annual salary range for this position is £34,000 - £48,000, based on qualifications and experience.
