Join Our Team as an SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a caring and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support our students with special educational needs.

About the Role:

This role involves supporting students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and physical disabilities in Erdington, Birmingham.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care and attention to students with SEN.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver lessons and develop learning plans.
  • Lead one-to-one or small group interventions tailored to student needs.
  • Help maintain a positive learning environment and encourage independence.
  • Track student progress and offer constructive feedback.
  • Support students during breaks, lunchtime, and extracurricular activities.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience working with children with SEN.
  • A compassionate approach to working with students.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of students' needs (desirable).
  • Relevant qualification or willingness to apply for Enhanced DBS check.
