Teaching Assistant Job Opportunity at Axcis Education

Job Description

We are seeking a committed and compassionate individual to support the educational and personal development of a child in Year 2 with Autism. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to provide essential support and care.

Main Duties:
  • Support the pupil's learning through various activities and strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Assist with communication and interaction needs of the pupil.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Criteria:

To be considered, you will need:

  • A valid Enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with special needs.
  • Proven ability to contribute to pupils' health and well-being.
Preferred Qualifications:

NVQ level 2 or equivalent, along with relevant experience working with children or individuals with special needs.

Working Details:

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30, with a potential opportunity for the contract to become permanent. Estimated salary: £83 per day (dependent on experience/qualifications).
