Purpose of the Role:
We're seeking an experienced commercial and customer-focused Retail Manager to lead all aspects of store performance. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for guiding and motivating colleagues to deliver exceptional customer experiences. You'll be an ambassador for the brand, an expert in product, systems, and processes, and a driving force behind business growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Experience: You'll be accountable for delivering an outstanding in-store customer experience by putting the customer at the forefront of all you do. You'll embed the Moss Essential Steps of Service as the standard and actively greet, listen, and offer individual bespoke advice to customers.
- Store Performance: You'll drive high productivity by creating an environment where the team strives to achieve and exceed one transaction per hour. You'll lead by example and oversee a high level of service and operational delivery within a positive and upbeat store environment.
- Team Development: You'll lead and develop the team through regular coaching and feedback, focusing on personal development and KPI achievement. You'll cultivate a high-performance culture and ensure that every colleague is equipped to deliver exceptional results.
- Product Knowledge: You'll have strong product knowledge for all our services and use this to tailor the customer experience and deliver operational best practice.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: You'll utilize sales and customer data to inform and guide your interactions, ensuring every decision enhances our collective success and customer satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence: You'll continually maintain and participate in an environment of management review, discussing, analyzing, agreeing, and implementing plans for all commercial and operational initiatives.
- People Processes: You'll follow all people processes that support the colleague lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, and absence management in collaboration with the People Team.
- Area Support: You'll be a key player within the Area and actively support the Area Manager.
- Seasonal Cycles: You'll oversee key seasonal cycles to align process with market demands, ensuring operational responsiveness and continuity.
- Visual Merchandising: You'll deliver and maintain the highest possible level of Visual Merchandising standards, both sartorial and commercial, recognizing this as integral to the customer experience.
