Assistant Store Manager

Seasalt Cornwall is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Chichester. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in driving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Store Manager in creating a service culture that puts the customer at the heart of everything we do.
- Enable the store team to recommend additional services to drive sales, such as omni-channel selling and gathering customer data.
- Support the Store Manager with recruitment, building a diverse and passionate team.
- Be a great role model, driving store sales, profitability, and consistent KPI achievement.
- Coach and develop the store team through regular 121s and supporting development plans.
- Communicate store performances to the team and key stakeholders, providing regular feedback and highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Implement store visual merchandising, windows standards, and guidelines to maximise commercial opportunities.
- Manage store operations, including stock management, loss prevention, and health and safety.
- Be a key-holder for the store and have sole responsibility for running the store when required.
- Previous experience in leading a team at supervisor level or above, preferably in retail or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Ability to drive key KPI achievement and manage budgets.
- Passion for inspiring the team to exceed sales and maximise profitability.
