Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Pets at Home Retail. As a key member of the store management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store, including recruitment, stock control, and store standards.
Key Responsibilities- Take full responsibility for the store in the absence of the Deputy or Store Manager
- Lead from the front with a hands-on approach, inspiring your team and creating a fantastic place to shop and work
- Maximise sales and performance across all primary KPIs, with the support of your Store Manager
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Ensure the store is maintained to the highest standards, including stock control and visual merchandising

We are looking for an experienced retail professional with a minimum of 6 months hands-on supervisory/management experience. You will need to be flexible, able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. You will also need to be passionate about retail, with a proven track record of delivering high standards and great results.
