Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Healthcare Manager to join our team at NHS Jobs. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for the safe and effective management of our healthcare services, including staff management, facilities, and associated systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the clinical team, ensuring that all staff members are equipped to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of healthcare services, ensuring that they meet the needs of patients and are in line with local and national standards and guidelines.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage risks to patient safety, ensuring that all necessary measures are in place to prevent harm.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, external organizations, and patients to ensure seamless care and coordination.
  • Education and Training: Participate in the education and training of junior staff, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality of patient care and services.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in healthcare management or a related field.
  • Experience: Significant experience in healthcare management, including leadership and staff management.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as local and national standards and regulations.
