About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Category Manager - Property & Facilities to join our Procurement team at Aviva. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the company's indirect Third Party spend, driving value for money, and ensuring the best possible terms for Aviva.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sourcing and supply chain strategies to drive value for money and improve supplier performance.
  • Manage contracts for value and performance, ensuring that suppliers meet agreed levels of performance and deliver business benefits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, suppliers, and other key partners to ensure that their requirements are met and that the best possible outcomes are achieved.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on procurement and supply chain matters to business stakeholders, ensuring that they are aware of the latest market trends and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of the Procurement function's strategy and plans, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a strong track record of delivering value for money and improving supplier performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of procurement and supply chain best practices, including contract management, supplier relationship management, and supply chain risk management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
