About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Management Specialist to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for maximizing value through the end-to-end commercial management of our key suppliers and associated third-party spend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver category plans to drive value from the supply chain
  • Meet agreed commercial targets for the category, including delivery of balanced cost reductions
  • Manage all relevant category or sub-category spend
  • Collaborate with various functions to ensure a holistic procurement strategy and plan is executed
  • Effective stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in commercial and stakeholder management, driving positive relationships and results
  • Extensive experience leading and managing end-to-end sourcing processes for optimized outcomes
  • Skilled in developing and negotiating high-value agreements that deliver maximum value
  • Strong background in Category Management, strategically aligning procurement with business goals
  • CIPS qualification, degree, or equivalent is highly desirable
