Bar & Lounge Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Bar & Lounge Manager to join our team at a luxury hotel near Christchurch. As a key member of our front of house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales in our bars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the bars at the venue, ensuring a high level of service and quality standards are maintained.
  • Supervise and develop junior members of staff, providing training and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
  • Recruit and develop a high-performing front of house team, focusing on excellent customer service and sales growth.
  • Drive sales and achieve targets, working closely with the wider hospitality team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Work in a hands-on, floor-based role, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Outgoing, friendly, and professional, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Good knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails, with experience working in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant to AA rosette service levels.
  • Strong knowledge of standards and procedures, with the ability to maintain a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, remaining calm and composed even in busy periods.
