Job Summary:

Fusion People Ltd is seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Coordinator to join our team. As a SHEQ Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Safe Operational Procedures: Develop, implement, and monitor safe operational procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with SHEQ systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Working Practices: Ensure that working practices are safe and compliant with legislation, and provide guidance and training to employees as needed.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
  • Contractor and Supplier Management: Review and manage contractor and supplier information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation: Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present reports, bulletins, and other communication materials to stakeholders as needed.
  • Equipment and Substances Management: Ensure that plant and equipment are installed and used safely, and that hazardous substances are handled and disposed of in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Advisory Services: Provide advisory services on a range of SHEQ areas, including fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, and occupational health.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NEBOSH General certification and up-to-date knowledge of H&S legislation and industry standards.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Behaviours: Proactive and self-motivated, confident communicator, good time management, strong organisational skills, and a proactive and positive attitude.
