SHEQ Advisor

Fusion People Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SHEQ Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Safe Operational Procedures: Develop, implement, and monitor safe operational procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Site Inspections and Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to SHEQ systems, policies, and procedures, and provide corrective action plans where necessary.
- Working Practices and Legislation: Ensure that working practices are safe and compliant with relevant legislation, and provide guidance and support to employees as needed.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employees' knowledge and skills in SHEQ areas.
- Contractor and Supplier Management: Review and manage contractor and supplier information to ensure compliance with SHEQ requirements.
- Incident Reporting and Investigation: Record, investigate, and take corrective action on incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Reporting and Communication: Produce reports, bulletins, and other communication materials to keep stakeholders informed of SHEQ-related matters.
- Qualifications: NEBOSH General certification and up-to-date knowledge of H&S legislation and employers' industry.
- Skills: Good Microsoft Office skills and a full driving license.
- Behaviours: Proactive and self-motivated, confident communicator, good time management, strong organizational skills, and a proactive and positive attitude.
