Job Title: SHEQ Advisor - Risk Management Specialist

Plantforce Rentals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SHEQ Advisor to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the workplace, employees, and site visitors operate in a safe and secure environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to reduce or eliminate them.
  • Safe Operational Procedures: Develop, implement, and monitor safe operational procedures to ensure compliance with SHEQ systems, policies, and regulations.
  • Site Inspections and Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to SHEQ systems, policies, and procedures, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to ensure employees understand and adhere to SHEQ policies and procedures.
  • Contractor and Supplier Management: Review and assess contractor and supplier information to ensure compliance with SHEQ requirements.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and near misses, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and disseminate reports, bulletins, and alerts to ensure effective communication of SHEQ-related information.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH certification and membership of IOSH or similar organizations.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Up-to-date knowledge of HSE legislation and industry best practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Behaviors: Proactive, self-motivated, and confident communicator with strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
