Fusion People Ltd is seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees and stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to minimize or eliminate them.
- Safe Operational Procedures: Develop, implement, and monitor safe operational procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Site Inspections and Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to SHEQ systems, policies, and procedures, and provide corrective action plans where necessary.
- Working Practices and Legislation: Ensure that all working practices are safe and compliant with relevant legislation, including health and safety regulations.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employees' knowledge and skills in SHEQ areas.
- Contractor and Supplier Management: Review and assess contractor and supplier information to ensure compliance with SHEQ standards.
- Incident Reporting and Investigation: Record, investigate, and take corrective action on incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and disseminate reports, bulletins, alerts, and toolbox talks to keep stakeholders informed.
- Plant and Equipment Safety: Ensure that plant and equipment are installed and used safely, and that hazardous substances are handled and disposed of properly.
- Qualifications: NEBOSH General certification and up-to-date knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Behaviours: Proactive, self-motivated, and confident, with a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence.
