Apprenticeship Skills Coach

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Apprenticeship Skills Coach to join our team at Total Training Provision. As an Apprenticeship Skills Coach, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training and support to our learners, helping them to achieve their goals and develop the skills they need to succeed in their chosen careers.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver and Facilitate Teaching and Learning: You will be responsible for delivering and facilitating teaching and learning that follows the agreed learning journey and pathway, resulting in new knowledge, skills, and behaviors being applied by learners in their workplace.
- Support and Deliver Functional Skills: You will support and deliver English, Maths, and ICT functional skills at level 2 throughout the learner's learner journey.
- Complete Visits and Reviews: You will complete the required number of visits and reviews required for each apprentice, meeting all stakeholders' requirements of quality and funding.
- Engage with Learners and Line Managers: You will engage with learners and their line managers to provide adequate support and guidance needed by the learner as outlined on the learner journey.
- Coach Learners to Collect Evidence: You will coach learners to collect the required evidence during training sessions, ensuring progression for their apprenticeship and achieving the necessary milestones in preparation for EPA or framework completion.
- Monitor and Review Learner Welfare: You will monitor and review learner's welfare on a regular basis, taking any necessary action to limit the number of early leavers from the programme and maintain agreed caseload levels.
- Carry Out Enrichment Activities: You will carry out enrichment activities with learners around the prevent, safeguarding, and British values government agenda.
- Manage Administration Duties: You will manage and complete administration duties within given timescales, ensuring all paperwork deadlines are achieved.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: You will research the industry on a regular basis to keep abreast of market developments and trends, including competitor's practices and delivery activities.
- Evaluate and Modify Training Delivery: You will evaluate and modify training delivery as a result of learner satisfaction and key stakeholder feedback, audits, or observations of teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Monitor Health and Safety: You will monitor health and safety and learner accidents within the apprentice's workplaces.
- Provide IAG Service: You will provide an effective IAG service to both internal and external clients/customers.
- Promote Total-TP: You will promote Total-TP at every opportunity with funding bodies, learners, placements, careers, schools, and any other applicable external body.
- Deliver up to Level 7: You must be able to deliver training up to level 7.
- Relevant Occupational Qualification: You must hold a level 3 relevant occupational qualification or equivalent in your sector of expertise.
- Assessors Award: You must hold a D32/33/TAQA level 3 Assessors Award or equivalent.
- Functional Skills: You must hold functional skills level 2 in Maths and English or equivalent.
- Experience of Delivering Apprenticeship Training: You must have experience of delivering apprenticeship training and support in a work-based environment.
- Experience of Assessing Learners: You must have proven experience of assessing learners on apprenticeship frameworks, standards, and EPA requirements.
- Knowledge of Government Funded Training: You must have knowledge of government-funded training.
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: You must have excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and written.
- Excellent IT Knowledge and Skills: You must have excellent IT knowledge and skills, including using electronic portfolio systems.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure: You must be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Ability to Work with Minimal Supervision: You must be able to work with the minimum of supervision as part of a remote team.
- Ability to Motivate and Support Learners: You must be able to motivate and support learners.
- Teacher, Training Qualifications: You may hold teacher, training qualifications such as PTLLS, CTLLS, or DTLLS.
- D34 or V1 Award: You may hold a D34 or V1 Award.
- Flexible Working Hours: You must be able to work flexible hours and locations (within reason), if required.
- Full Driving Licence and Car: You must hold a full driving licence and have access to a car.
