Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and Facilitate Teaching and Learning: Design and deliver engaging training sessions that cater to the needs of our learners, focusing on the development of new knowledge, skills, and behaviors.
  • Support and Deliver Functional Skills: Provide support and deliver English, Maths, and ICT functional skills training to our learners, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Complete Teaching and Learning Visits: Conduct regular teaching and learning visits to monitor progress, provide feedback, and ensure continuous development and achievement of our learners.
  • Engage with Learners and Line Managers: Build strong relationships with learners and their line managers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the requirements of the apprenticeship program.
  • Coach Learners to Collect Evidence: Coach learners to collect the required evidence during training sessions, ensuring they meet the necessary milestones for their apprenticeship and EPA or framework completion.
  • Monitor and Review Learner Welfare: Regularly monitor and review learner welfare, taking necessary action to limit early leavers from the program and maintain agreed caseload levels.
  • Carry out Enrichment Activities: Organize and deliver enrichment activities that promote British values, safeguarding, and prevent, ensuring our learners are equipped with the skills and knowledge required for their future careers.
  • Manage Administration Duties: Complete administration tasks within given timescales, ensuring all paperwork deadlines are met and maintaining accurate records.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Research and stay informed about industry trends, competitor practices, and delivery activities, ensuring our training programs remain relevant and effective.
  • Evaluate and Modify Training Delivery: Regularly evaluate and modify training delivery based on learner feedback, stakeholder input, and audits, ensuring our programs meet the highest standards.
  • Monitor Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of our learners and staff, monitoring and reporting any incidents or accidents within the apprentice's workplaces.
  • Provide IAG Services: Offer information, advice, and guidance to both internal and external clients, promoting Total Training Provision's services and expertise.
  • Promote Total-TP: Promote Total Training Provision's services and expertise to funding bodies, learners, placements, careers, schools, and other external bodies, ensuring our reputation and brand are consistently represented.
Essential Criteria:
  • Deliver up to Level 7: Possess the necessary qualifications and experience to deliver training up to Level 7.
  • Relevant Occupational Qualification: Hold a relevant occupational qualification or equivalent in your sector of expertise.
  • Assessor's Award: Possess a D32/33/TAQA Level 3 Assessors Award or equivalent.
  • Functional Skills: Hold Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Experience in Apprenticeship Training: Have experience delivering apprenticeship training and support in a work-based environment.
  • Assessment Experience: Proven experience assessing learners on apprenticeship frameworks, standards, and EPA requirements.
  • Knowledge of Government Funded Training: Have knowledge of government-funded training and its requirements.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
  • IT Knowledge and Skills: Have excellent IT knowledge and skills, including the use of electronic portfolio systems.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to Work Remotely: Be able to work with minimal supervision as part of a remote team.
  • Motivation and Support: Be able to motivate and support learners to achieve their full potential.
Desirable or to be Undertaken as Part of Role:
  • Teacher, Training Qualifications: Possess teacher, training qualifications such as PTLLS, CTLLS, or DTLLS.
  • D34 or V1 Award: Hold a D34 or V1 Award.
Other Requirements:
  • Flexibility: Be able to work flexible hours and locations, if required.
  • Full Driving Licence: Possess a full driving licence and have access to a car.
