Animal Experience Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Animal Experience Coordinator to join our team at Chester Zoo. As a key member of our Conservation Education & Engagement team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering engaging public experiences that promote the conservation of endangered species.
You will work closely with our animal collection and conservation teams to create interactive and educational experiences for our visitors. This may include leading shows, presentations, and interactive activities, as well as managing animal walkthroughs and ensuring high standards of animal care.
We offer a competitive salary of £13,182.60 per annum, plus benefits including staff pass, healthcare plan, employee assistance programme, discounted gym membership, and pension scheme with generous employer contribution.
This is a permanent part-time position, working either 14 hours or 21 hours per week, with flexible shift patterns. You will need to be available to work weekends, including some early morning and evening shifts, and overtime during peak periods such as school holidays.
