We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Mental Health of Learning Disability (MHLD) team in West Kent. As a member of our multidisciplinary health team, you will be responsible for providing specialist Clinical Psychology services to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake direct and indirect specialist psychology interventions in line with best practice.
- Work closely with colleagues in MHLD and other services to ensure timely discharge back into the community for service users who are admitted to in-patient wards.
- Provide training placements for trainee clinical psychologists in this specialism.
About the Role
As a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist in our MHLD team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. You will be responsible for assessing and treating adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, and working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
