Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our expanding team at North East London Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a doctoral-level degree in clinical or counselling psychology and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

The post holder will be responsible for providing specialist assessment and therapy for young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties and their families. This will involve working autonomously within the overall framework of the Trust's policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering psychological therapies in a CAMHS setting and be able to work collaboratively with other health and social care professionals. We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified candidates.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist assessment and therapy for young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties and their families
  • Work autonomously within the overall framework of the Trust's policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other health and social care professionals to provide a comprehensive service
Requirements
  • Doctoral-level degree in clinical or counselling psychology
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience in delivering psychological therapies in a CAMHS setting
